Yvonne Brown

On Saturday, December 27, 2014 our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend entered into eternal rest.
Yvonne Young Brown was born on February 19, 1938 to the late Samuel L. and Mary V. Young in Washington, D.C. She was the fourth child of six. Yvonne attended D.C. Public Schools. Yvonne was also a member of Salem Baptist Church. In her later years she retired from Safeway Food Store
Proceeding her in death were Brothers Leon Young, Michael Young, Sr., Samuel Young, Jr. and son Edward Edwards III.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Sherie Edwards, Granddaughter Brittany Edwards, great grandson Sean Allen. Two sister Lorretta Clark, Rebecca Herndon and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her love for her family and friends will long be remembered.
