Willian Brown Davis born Willie Ann Brown was the daughter of the late William and Grace Brown was born July 15, 1918 in Hustle, VA. She accepted Christ at an early age, and joined the Mount Olive Baptist Church under the Pastorate of the late Pastor William Amos Young Sr. where her father served on the Deacon Board.
She attended grade school in Hustle, Va. at the age of fifteen she moved to Philadelphia, Pa. She was later united in Holy Matrimony to Earle William Bounds who died in 1953 at an early age. This union produced three children Deborah, William and Rhonda.

She attended the Mount Carmel Baptist Church of Philadelphia, and later joined the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church on 56th and Vine Sts. She loved singing in choirs, or in the congregation and humming in the kitchen while preparing one of her delicious meals; her most requested dish was Candied Sweets. She loved serving in the church, loved to crochet, bowling, crossword puzzles and watching jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and all kinds of sports.

Willian worked from home, as well as did domestic work to maintain the family. She later attended O.I.C. Opportunities Industrial Center where she obtained a High School Diploma and developed skills in Electronic Assembly.

She was later married to Edward R. Davis, who also preceded her in death. Her youngest daughter, Rhonda Marie Collins also preceded her in death. She was later employed by Tele-Dynamics as an Electronic Assembler in Pennsylvania and she retired in 1980 in Pennsylvania.

After retiring she returned to her first love Hustle, Virginia, and the Mount Olive Baptist Church. She later joined the Jerusalem Baptist Church of Doswell, under the pastorate of Pastor E. Richard Swann.

Willian Brown Davis is survived by her son, the Reverend William E. Bounds and his wife, Deborah D. Bounds; her daughter Deborah Elaine Bounds-Blake and her husband Rheingold who reside in Pennsylvania; she is also survived by her sister Inez Holloway of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren; Lisa Hill, Camille Strange, Keia Thompson, Zaki Bounds, Rhonda Royal, Erica Bounds, Tamika Bounds, Rhonda Daniels, Rasheda Daniels, Yvette Cupid, and Eric Perry; host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was always ready to help her children and the church.
