William Moore, Jr.

William Moore, Jr. was born on November 2, 1935 in Utica, Mississippi to the late Mr. & Mrs. William Moore, Sr. He departed this life on March 22, 2017 at Carriage Hill Nursing Home in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
William joined the United States Navy from 1955 to 1959. He later seeked employment doing whatever he could with his hands. For his was known for being a jack of all trades.
He also enjoyed traveling, being outside, all sports but especially football. William was a die-hard Washington Redskins Fan.
William was preceded in death by: his parents Mr. & Mrs. William Moore, Sr., his brother Norma Moore, his friends Mary E. White and Larry (Gene) White.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one brother Willie Moore (Essie) of Chicago, Illinois; one sister Teresia Miller (Jack) of Louisville, Mississippi; one sister-in-law Murial Moore of California; three nieces and nephews, dedicated caregivers: Linda Grady (Angelo), Bootsie Grady (Puncho) and Sarah Brown all of Bowling Green, Virginia. Children of his late friend Mary White whom he loved as his own: Oliver White Jr. (Linda), Sharon White Greer, Roland White (Mary), grandson Weldon Grant, Jr. (Nikeisha) and granddaughter Lisa White all of King George, Virginia, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
