Walter H. Smith, Jr.

Walter H. Smith, Jr. "Tony Red" departed this life on April 5, 2013. He was born in Spotsylvania, Virginia to the late Walter H. Smith, Sr. and Bertha Stubbs Smith. He loved driving his tractor trailer and racing cars, not to mention cooking. Also, he enjoyed driving a cab part-time. Tony Red was a born again believer, excepting Jesus Christ as his personal savior. He enjoyed attending Strong Tower Ministry, Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Unfortunately, due to illness he was forced to give up the one thing he enjoyed most, driving. Tony Red was known for his joking mannerism, spending time with his family and friends. He was a kind, loving soul and the rock of his family.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters, Barbara Fisher, Paige Hair and Sheila Smith; one brother, Roland "Dickey" Smith (Patricia); eight children, Lotrell Jones, Jacoby Garnett,, Nicole Smith (Tony Clark) Charnita Fox (Danny Ware) Torrian Johnson, Tija Brown, Tanea Johnson, and Tra-Von Chase and his companion Lutesha Wells; twenty grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; two devoted friends, Doris Jones and Gwen Smith.
