Virginia L. Baylor Davis

On January 4, 2008, a 66 year old loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend departed this life. Virginia was born in Port Royal, Va to the late Walter and Jennie Vee Baylor in 1941.

Virginia received her education in the Caroline County Public School System. Virginia moved to Washington,D.C. during her early adulthood and furthered her education in the field of nursing. She was employed for many years by Washington General Hospital,Washington, D.C.

In 1978, Virginia met and united with the late James B. Davis. She was preceded in death by one son, Mark Hicks.

She leaves to cherish in her loving memory, one son, Terry Baylor(Cynthia) of Somerdale, NJ; one daughter, LaShay Johnson of Berlin, NJ; two step-daughters, Marie Davis of Washington, DC and Veronica Marshall of North Carolina; two brothers, Walter Baylor III, whom preceded her in death and Wilbur Baylor(Priscilla) of Williamstown, NJ; three sisters, Gloria Smith, Bear, DE, Carolyn(Martin) Kamison, Cherry Hill, NJ and Juliette Rodriguez, Atco, NJ; one son-in-law, Tyrone Johnson, Berlin,NJ; two brothers-in-law, Gene Smith, Philadelphia, PA and Martin Kamison, Cherry Hill, NJ; one sister-in-law, Brenda Baylor, Bowling Green, Va; four aunts, Sally Seaborn, Virginia Parker, Mary Golden and Elizabeth Golden; two uncles, James golden and Thomas Golden; five grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
