Vernard Winslow

Vernard Winslow affectionately known as "Duke" or Vernakins" was born on August 8, 1963 to Essie King and the late Robert Lee Winslow.

Thursday evening, September 13, 2012 God called our fun loving loved one home. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the Name of the Lord (Job 1:21)

Vernard accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Pilgrim Cathedral; He was a gifted musician, playing the keyboard, bass and drums all by ear. An accomplished songwriter and musical composer.

Vernard leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Monique; his two sons, Miles Ragin, Robert Winslow; daughter, Sierra Ragin all of King George, Virginia; his mother, Essie Winslow; two sisters; and six brothers all of Brooklyn, New York.
