Verlette Davis

Verlette Davis known to many as "Boo" was born July 5, 1957 to Shirley (Davis) Johnson and the late Floyd Johnson, Sr. On Wednesday, August 19th the almighty extended his hand and Verlette said good bye to this world and went home to be with the Lord and Savior. She received her education in the King George County school system. She was employed in various job industries before her health began to fail.
Verlette acknlowged and accepted Jesus Christ as her creator and savior at an early age and joined the Union Bethel Baptist church. She was a diehard "Washington Redskin" fan. She love spending time with her family especially her sisters. She also loved to dance. If the music was right she would cut a step.

Verlette was preceded in death by father, Floyd Johnson, Sr., Three sisters- Rosalyn Johnson, Earlene Johnson, and Delorice McDowney.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother Shirley (George) Johnson, a special and devoted companion Isaiah Brent, one daughter Wanda Davis, Six Sons- Tyrone (Melissa) Bland, Lenard (Natina) Davis, Justin (Lakia) Davis, Darnell, Jamell, and Lamont Davis. 20 Grandchildren; Six Sisters- Laverne (Donald) Smith, Mary Johnson, Barbara Johnson, Patricia Jackson, Martha Johnson, Ericka Johnson, Cheryl Ellis. Seven Brothers- George (Earline) Johnson, Timothy (Cynthia) Johnson, Thomas (Kim) Johnson, Michael (Katrina) Johnson, Kevin Johnson, William Johnson, Floyd Johnson, Jr. One Brother-In-Law- Mark McDowney; Six Aunts- Elizabeth Davis, Alice Smith, Ella (Robert) Johnson, Gladys Carr, Emma Davis, Dorothy (Danny) Mouzon; Three Uncles- Linwood Davis, Leroy Johnson, Edward (Dorothy) Johnson; One God-Daughter- Shanique Johnson; Special Cousin- Tyanna Brown, And "Snowball" her dog that she loved with all her heart. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
