Tyrone Lewis Jones

Tyrone Lewis Jones departed this life on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Bowling Green Healthcare Center. Tyrone, affectionately known as “Ty”, was born on May 31, 1952 to the late Lloyd Washington, Sr. and Clara Bell (Jones) Washington. He was educated in Caroline County Public Schools.

Tyrone joined Shiloh Baptist Church where he attended regularly. Parking cars was one of his joys. He worked for several asphalt companies. After retirement, he worked many jobs helping people in the neighborhood. He was a fun, loving person who made many friends along the way.

Tyrone leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Kurit Taylor of Port Royal; three daughters, Tangela Garnett of Washington, D.C., Andrea Stafford (Anthony) of Maryland, Tansia Nelson (Brandon) of Maryland; five brothers, William Washington (Linda) of North Carolina, Lloyd Washington, Jr. of Rappahannock Academy, James Washington (Geneva) of Rappahannock Academy, Robert Jones (Priscilla) of Texas, Van Robinson (Ursula) of King George; three sisters, Shirley Washington (Theodore), Ann Cole (William), and Doris Jones of Rappahannock Academy; one aunt, Gracie Washington of Rappahannock Academy; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and loving relatives and friends.
