Travis D. Stewart

Travis Dante' Stewart was born on November 26th, 1992 in Richmond, Virginia to Aretha Ann Stewart Latney and Merlin Wade Martin. He departed this life on April 17, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Laura M. Stewart-Broaddus

Travis was a very kind and gentle soul; he was a giant in a little young man's body. There was nothing he wouldn't do to put a smile on your face; Travis would also encourage you to do your best. He loved sports, going to school, and spending time with his family and friends. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his mother and his grandmother Beatrice Martin both who he loved dearly.

Travis's favorite sating was: "Think about the choices you decide on in life because the consequences are more severe then the choices you make."

Travis leaves to cherish fond memories his mother Aretha Stewart-Latney (John), his father; Merlin Wade Martin, brothers; Marcus, RaJohn, Brian, Jowan; sisters Asia Stewart and Imone'; stepbrothers Johnathan, Reggie and stepsister Tamika; niece Lacyah and nephew Jeremiah; Aunts Tara, Shirley, Laura, Kathy; Uncles Johnny (Wendy), Darnell, Terrille (Sheka), Bethuel; paternal grandmother Beatrice Martin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
