Theodore H. Peyton

Theodore H. Peyton, affectionately known as Tee, Peyton, or Hampy (only to his loving Aunt Rebecca), was born August 20, 1955 in King George, VA to the late Rachel Peyton Brooks and Theodore Brown. Our Heavenly Father saw fit to call his Angel home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at his residence.

He was educated at King George School in King George, VA. He joined Good Hope Baptist Church at an early age. Tee was a skilled mechanic and welder. He was employed by Metro for 30 years and retired at the age of 50, as he vowed to never work a day past his 50th birthday. He was a hardworking man and earned his leisure.

Tee was a loving husband, father, nephew, cousin, and friend. He enjoyed frequenting the gun range with his daughters and was passionate about American Muscle cars. He always had a vehicle you could hear coming from a mile away.
He was the one you called when your check engine light came on, needed air in your tires, or needed an oil change. He liked working with his hands and he was the fix-it man in the house.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of over 40 years, Deborah (Higgs) Peyton, his daughters, Teya Peyton and Tera (Peyton) Phillips, and Vicki Fields; His loving and devoted Aunt Rebecca Mitchell, a special Brother, Samuel Pryor, a sister and three brothers; aunts Charlotte Richards, Thelma Johnson and one uncle.
