Terry Lynn Ferguson
On August 1, 2021 at Mary Washington Hospital. God reached down his arms of
love and took to eternal rest, Terry Lynn Ferguson, son of the late John Ferguson
Sr. and Bernice Ferguson.
Terry Ferguson was born on February 3, 1963. At an early age, he accepted Christ
as his personal savior where he joined Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Terry attended Essex County public schools. Upon finishing high school, he went
to work at White Packing in King George, Virginia. Over the years he found his
passion working in construction and with gas lines. He was employed with Miller
Pipeline.
His love of life and colorful personality won him many friends throughout the
years. His laugh was recognizable to many of us. He loved fishing, taking the kids
to places and riding around in his Ford Flex.
Left to carry on his legacy and cherish his memories is his mother, Bernice
Ferguson of Supply, VA; his three devoted daughters Miranda Greene of Norfolk,
VA, Alisia and Mariah Ferguson of Fredericksburg, VA; three brothers Larry,
Johnny, and Karl Ferguson all of Supply, VA; five aunts Marion Sorrell, Pearl
Holmes, Mattie Lee all of Supply, VA, Ursula Holmes of King George, VA and Gloria
Gray of Fredericksburg, VA; two uncles William (Jabo) Holmes of Fredericksburg,
VA and Anthony Ferguson of Bowling Green, VA; a host of nephews, great nieces,
great nephews, cousins and many friends; and one special friend Tracy Fortune
