Ted Brent

Ted Brent, 53 of Caroline, VA passed away Friday March 5, 2021 at Henrico doctors Hospital Richmond VA. He was born to Gertrude Stepneny and the late George Stepneny on December 13, 1967 in Fredericksburg VA.

Ted attended King George Public School. At an early age he joined St. Stephens Baptist Church King George VA. He was a hard worker, and provider for his family. He worked as an asphalt paver at We Pave in Southern MD. He was a dedicated son who along with his fiancée Jennifer was providing and caring for his Mother. He loved spending time with family and spoiling his grandsons Kameryn and Karter.
Ted loved cleaning his truck, fishing and cooking fish, He was the fish fry expert. His pastime was also spent watching Western movies, Gunsmoke was his favorite.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his dedicated mother Gertrude Stepneny of Caroline VA, his loving and devoted fiancé Jennifer Morris of Caroline VA, beloved son Deonte Johnson (Kristen) of King George VA and daughter Kayla Morris of Spotsylvania VA, one brother Reginald Brent (Joann) of FL, his 2 precious grandsons, Kameryn and Karter Johnson of King George VA, four uncles, Isiah Brent of Dahlgren VA, Jonnie Brent of King George VA, Anthony Brent and Ervin Brent of Stafford VA, three aunts, Daisy Brent of MD, Mable Houchens of Spotsylvania VA, and Rosa Lee Conway of Richmond, VA , one nephew Raheem Brent of FL, and goddaughter Nyasia Smith of King George, VA and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father George Stepneny, his brother George Brent Jr, Grandparents Anthony and Rosie Brent, uncles Eddie Brent and Forest Brent.
