Sean M Smith

Sean McVae Smith was born on November 24, 1970 in Fredericksburg, VA to Hugh Leon and Marva Smith. Of this union, he was the youngest of five children.
Sean graduated from King George High School as an honor student. Upon graduation, he continued his education at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. He served in the United States Army Reserve for several years.
Sean was employed at the Birchwood Power Company in King George, VA. He was well respected by his co-workers, always offered a helping hand, and was a dedicated employee while performing his duties.
Sean was an avid sports enthusiast, especially as an outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, visiting the racetrack, and drag racing with his friends.
One of Sean's achievements was being a great father; Sean had a special bond with his daughters, Azaleigh (age 9) and Akeeyva (age 6) ensuring that they were deeply loved. They truly are the epitome of "Daddy's Girls".
More importantly Sean accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior.
Sean was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Peyton, his paternal grandparents Hugh and Priscilla Smith and maternal grandparents Wilson and Irene Jefferson.
Sean leaves to cherish his memory: spouse, Laurence, daughters, Azaleigh and Akeeyva, parents, Hugh and Marva Smith, sister, Lois (Mike) Doles and brothers Hugh Smith (Weepee) III and Towan Smith a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, special friends, special co-workers and best friend, Steve Haun and racing team, Glen Bailey and Robert Patrick.
Sean's memory will be etched in our hearts eternally.
