Ronnie L. Brown

Ronnie Lee Brown entered into rest on Friday, December 18, 2009, at Mary Washington Hospital. Ronnie was born on July 5, 1959 in Colonial Beach, Virginia to the late Clarice Brown and David Richardson and later Ronnie was adopted by the late Marie Brown-Dickson who all preceded him in death.

Ronnie received his education at Colonial Beach Public Schools. He became a member of First Babptist Church in Colonial Beach, Virginia under the leadership of the late Pastor George Bumbrey.

Ronnie loved playing card games and shooting pool. He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan. He worked at Walter Reed Medical Hospital in Washington, D.C. for 17 years until his health began to fail.

Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory, one loving daughter Latisha West of Colonial Beach, Va.; one special grandson Shvion West-Shelling of Colonial Beach, Va.; six sisters, Maria Brown of Caroline County, Va., Vanessa Brown of Colonial Beach, Va., Loretta Ruffin of Manassas, Va., Mary Dudley of Oxon Hill, Md., Sharita Hayes of Washington D.C. and Valerie Brown of Philadelphia, Pa.; one adopted sister, Emma Hart of Nanjemoy Md.; three brothers, Royal Brown of Caroline County, Va., Kennedy Brown of North Carolina, and David Hayes of Philadelphia, Pa.; two special nieces Bridget and Colia Brown of Caroline County, Va.; two aunts Maggie Fortune of Colonial Beach, Va., and Virginia Richardson of Washington D.C.; one special friend Larry Bryce; and host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
