Roger Carter Deyo (Red) was born November 20,1928 in King and Queen Co., Va. son of the late Howard and Massie Fortune Deyo. He departed this life on March 10,2003 after a long illness at the Arlington Hospital. Roger worked as the head maintenance technician at the Abingdon Apts. for 23 years. He retired from the City of Alexandria where he worked as a custodian in the Police Dept. after 10 years of service. On October 15,1960 Roger was united in holy matrimony to Daisey Mae Berry from this union three children were born. He was a very devoted and loving husband,father,brother,grandfather and friend. Roger leaves to cherish his memory his wife Daisey Mae Deyo, Two sons Ralph D. and Roger C. Deyo.Jr. both of Woodbridge,Va. Two daughters Barbara D. Kimble, Woodbridge,Va. and Sharon Harvey, St. Stephens Church, Va. Two sisters Mary D. Deyo,Silver Spring, Md. and Geraldine Young, Philadelphia, Pa., One brother Wallace Deyo, Newtown, Va. Nine Grandchildren and Four GreatGrandchildren One daughter-in-law Barbara Deyo and One son-in-law Wiilie J. Kimble, Four sister-in-laws Mary E. Deyo, Mary F. Deyo,Priscilla A. Lumpkin, & Marion E.Berry Five brother-in-laws Raymond,Richard,Elvin,James,and Donald Berry and a host of nieces , nephews cousins and friends.
