Robert A. Taylor

On December 22, 2006, our loving son and brother, Robert ''Bobby'' Alvin Taylor, was called to rest. He is the son of Earnest and Velma Taylor, Farnham (Richmond County), Virginia. He is the first of six siblings.

Bobby received his education in the Richmond County Public Schools and graduated in June 1970 from Rappahannock High School, Warsaw, Virginia. He attended the University of Virginia (Charlottesville, Va.) and Howard University (Washington,DC).

Bobby resided in Washington, DC most of his life. He was employed thirty two years with the U.S. Postal Service in Washington, DC and twenty years with the Exxon Corporation in Crystal City, Virginia.

He was a loyal ''Washington Redskins'' and Washington Nationals fan. He was a caring, compassionate and respectable individual who always wore a smile. He was loved by all who met him. He had a deep affection for animals especially his cat ''Gracie''.

His faith and love for God never faltered. This was evident when he displayed his joy and excitement when participating in worship services at Evangel Temple (Upper Marlboro, MD) and Second New Saint Paul Baptist Church (Washington,DC).
