Rae Yvonne Boxley, The third daughter of the Late Clinton and Priscilla Bundy, was born February 16, 1935, and Suddenly departed this life on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at home in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and her beloved son Rodell.
Rae joined Ebenezer Baptist Church at an early age, and was faithful, and devoted until her death. She served untiringly for many years as Chairperson of the Nurses Ministry during the early years, she serve as a member of the youth chair, and of the Missionary Ministry she received her formal education from the Public Schools in Caroline County and graduated from the Union High School in 1954.
She retired after 31 years as an employee with the May Company (Hechts) as a Sales Associate, and being an active person after retirement. She began another career as a School Bus driver with Spotsylvania County.
She leaves to Cherish fond memories to one son Kenneth, Two daughters, Dayle and Sheila, one grandson, Kobe Brown, one son-in-law Earl all of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Two sisters, Carolyn Johnson and Ethel Jarvis of Supply, Virginia; one godson Robert Colter; two nephews, Howard Jarvis of Atlanta, Georgia and Lawrence Jarvis of Alexandria, Virginia. Three great nephews, Derrick Holmes of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Lamont Turner and Lawrence Jarvis of Atlanta Georgia; a host of cousins, special friends, Katrina Ellis, Percy Warmsby, Shirley Sayles, Bessie Lee, Helen Brown, and Gertrude Colter.
