Phyllis Williams Spencer

Phyllis Williams Spencer, 86 of King George County, passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at Heritage Hall.


Mrs. Spencer was born February 11, 1935 to the late Benjamin and Maggie Estelle (Johnson) Williams.


She was educated in King George Public Schools and retired from the Federal Government after many years as a civil servant.


Outspoken, with a great sense of humor Phyllis was a passionate woman who thrived on her love of motorcycles, gardening and tending to her many animals over the years.


She leaves to cherish her memory her son Erskine Vaughan, sister Betty Robinson of Virginia, sister Lois Johnson and her husband Daniel Johnson of Washington D.C, step-children, nieces, nephews, loved ones and many great friends.


In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband George E. Spencer, and her two brothers David and Wallace Williams of Farrell, Pennsylvania.


Grave site service will be at 12 p.m. with Rev. Larry Robinson on Tuesday, October 19th at Little Ark Baptist Church Cemetery, 15681 Owens Dr, King George, VA 22485.
