Pauline C. Jackson

Pauline C. Jackson, daughter of the late James Holmes and Mary Baylor, was born December 29, 1922 in Shumansville, Virginia. She departed this life after a brief illness on Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Mary Washington Hospital. At an early age she accepted Christ and joined Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. She received her education at the Reedy Mill School. She was joined in holy matrimony to the late Robert Jackson in 1945. From this union, fourteen children were born. She was preceded in death by two sons, John and Lloyd and two daughters, Geraline and Loretta. Pauline loved to cook and doing things for her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Mary Jones and Beatrice Byrd both of Ruther Glen; six sons, Charles of Ladysmith, Ernest of Ruther Glen, James of Richmond, Curtis of Bowling Green, Robert of Sparta, and Linwood Jackson of Silver Spring, Maryland; forty-four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two son-in-laws, Willie Jones and Tim Byrd; two daughter-in-laws, Maxine and Della Jackson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
