Patricia Ann Holmes

Patricia Ann Holmes, affectionately known as ''Baney'' ''Sue'' or ''Tricia'' was born on May 9, 1956 to Rita Inez Holmes and the late William Aubrey Holmes.

Early Saturday morning, September 13, 2008, God called our fun loving loved one and his beloved daughter home. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away, Blessed be the Name of the Lord. (Job 1:21).

At an early age, Patricia was baptized and joined Antioch Baptist Church in Champlain, Virginia.

Patricia attended the Essex County Public Schools.

Patricia was employed for a number of years at St. Margaret's School, Tappahannock, Virginia, Riverside Tappahannock Hospital, Tappahannock, Virginia, and Queen Street Texaco, Tappahannock, Virginia.

We pause to pay our last respects to our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

Patricia leaves to cherish fond memories: her mother, Rita Inez Holmes, Champlain, Va; a devoted and loving son, John Murray(Tawana) Champlain, Va; one granddauther, Asia Murray, Champlain, Va; two brothers, William Holmes(Mildred) and Dean Holmes(Carol) both of Champlain, Va; four sisters, Celeste Houston, New Jersey, Dorothy O'Neal(Robert) Champlain, Jean Ware(Jerome) Tappahannock and Ellen Gray(Lloyd) Tappahannock, Va; three devoted friends whom she loved dearly, Valerie Fauntleroy, Tappahannock, Va., Lucille Gaines, Hustle, Va., and Kim Nelson, Tappahannock, Va; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
