Odessa L. Harvey

Odessa L. Harvey born to the late James and Eva Harvey on March 15, 1924 in Newtown, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Riverside Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw, Virginia.

Odessa was educated in the King and Queen County Public School System. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined First Mount Olive Baptist Church, Newtown, Virginia. Odessa loved to cook; she especially loved cooking fried chicken and cakes.

Odessa is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and 3 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one sister Marie Johnson, two brothers-in-law, Quentin Johnson, and Robert Baylor, three nephews James Johnson, Gary and Anthony Baylor, one niece Marilyn Baylor and a host of other relatives and friends.
