Norman Edward Stepney

Norman Edward Stepney, 71, of Port Royal, VA passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital.

Norman was born July 13, 1940 in King George, VA and worked as a truck driver for over 30 years.

He is survived by three daughters, Brenda Cannon of Centreville, VA; Janet Brown of Fredericksburg, VA; Stephanie Stepney-Sciascia of King George, VA; and one son Norman E. Stepney, Jr. of San Bernardino, CA; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Blanche Frye, his father James Peyton, and his daughter Maria Stepney.

The viewing will be from 11 am to 1 pm followed by services at 1 pm at First Baptist Church of Ambar, 9469 Caledon Road, King George, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or Mary Washington Hospice organization.
