“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4
Nelson Eugene Frye, affectionately known as ‘Chucky’ slipped into eternal rest on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He was born on July 1,1960 to the late Nelson and Sophia Frye of King George, VA. He was preceded in death by his son, baby Frye. He was married to his best friend Joyce White for 21 years and from that union he had three beautiful daughters.
Chucky joined First Baptist Ambar church at an early age and remained a member until he departed. Chucky attended King George county schools and in April of 1979, he joined the United States Army where he served as a Armor Crewman. He received an Army Service Ribbon award and he was honorably discharged in April of 1982. After the military he worked in construction, a trade that he learned as a young boy from his father. He became a master of his trade and his works speak for itself.
Chucky enjoyed hanging out with his friends in the park, cooking and making cheese cakes, but most of all he loved his girls. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for them. He also loved dancing, he even invented his own dance, known as the ‘Chuck Walk’. Chucky was a loving and caring man who would help anyone in need, without hesitation. He would give you the last dime in his pocket with a smile on his face.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, three daughters, Keshia Wright (James), Fredericksburg, VA, Latasha Frye and Jarnay Frye of King George, VA, one son-n-law, James Wright, One brother, Reverend George Frye (Monica), King George, VA.
