Nannie J. Jackson

Nannie J. Jackson was born in Caroline County, Virginia on March 19, 1915. She was educated in Caroline public school system. Nannie joined St. John’s Baptist Church at an early age excepting the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior.

In the year of 1939, she was united in holy wedlock to the late James A. Jackson, Sr and from this union came nine children.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory six children: James Jackson, Jr. (Miriam), Alphonso Jackson (Christine), Nannie Mae Wright (Donald), Russell Lee Jackson (Cecila), Alfred Lewis Jackson (Jacqueline), and Julia Ann Jackson. She also leaves to mourn a devoted Godson Duffy L. Robinson (Arithea). Preceding her in death was the late Barbara Jean Jackson and Mary Evelyn Jackson.

She is survived by 30 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a very close friend Lucille Wright.
