Maryland T Harris

Our beloved Maryland Taft Harris, best known as "Baltimore" by family and friends quietly and peacefully slipped into eternal rest on Saturday, April 26, 2014.

He was born on November 6, 1958 to the late Franklin and Annie Harris. He was proceeded in death by his parents and two brothers Leroy and Jerry Harris. He joined Bethany Baptist Church at an early age. After obtaining his education at Hanover County Public Schools he labored at Calvin Construction Company.

He was a dedicated husband, father, great-uncle and friend. " Baltimore's" favorite hobbies was cooking and detailing cars. his favorite song that kept a smile on his face and a dance in his step was "Boogie Body" by Bar-Keys.

His celebration of life will be remembered by his devoted wife Joanne, and his loving son Travis Harris of Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Devoted aunts and uncles: Shirley Stanley, Margaret Jones and Walter Jones all of Richmond, Virginia, Nelson Jones of Orange County, Virginia and Donnie Jones of Dayton, Ohio.

Mother-In-Law Mozelle Keys, Three Sister-In-Laws Alice Williams (Walter), Earnstine Pollard (James), and Polly Scott. Two Brother-In-Laws: William Keys Jr. all of Spotsylvania, Virginia and David Keys of Cold Springs, Virginia.

A devoted niece Corletta Ashley "Co" and Best friend Thomas Washington "Butterball" of Spotsylvania, Virginia. and a host of niece, nephews and friends.
