Mary Thelma Johnson

Mary Thelma Johnson departed this life on December 5, 2004 at the Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on March 9, 1917 to the late Allen and Ellen Wright.

She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the St. John Baptist Church, Milford, Va. Later after joining in holy matrimony to Charles Johnson, she joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Chilesburg, Va.

Mary loved cooking and tending to her flower garden, she took pride in bringing fresh flowers to church on Sunday.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Charles F. Johnson of Ruther Glen, Va.; one son, Norman Davis of Washington, D. C.; four grandchildren, Norman Davis, Juan Young, Allen Johnson and Kelly Richie; two sisters, Elsie Childs of Ruther Glen, Va.; and Viola Wright of Milford, Va.; two brothers, Alandus Wright of Washington, D. C.; and Raymond Wright of Milford, Va.; a devoted godson and caretaker, Namen Parker and wife Williana; and a host of other relatives and friends.
