A TIME TO BE BORN
Mary Rose Maloy was born January 4, 1933 in Caroline County, Virginia, to the late Leroy and Rosa Lee Monroe.

A TIME TO LEARN
She received her education in the Caroline County Public Schools and later earned a Career Studies Certificate in Early Childhood Education from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, Va.

A TIME TO SERVE
Mary Rose accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of St. John Baptist Church in Milford, Virginia for many years and later joined Faith Christian Church Center World Outreach in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was always professing her faith in God and encouraged everyone to seek Him.

A TIME TO LOVE
Mary Rose was united in holy matrimony on February 10, 1973 to Melvin H. Maloy.

A TIME TO REST
On Monday, February 25th, God's angels arrived at Mary Rose's home in Ruther Glen, Virginia and took her to her heavenly home.

A TIME TO REMEMBER
To cherish her precious memories are her husband, Melvin Maloy; three sons, Timothy Maloy(La-Shawn), Andre Maloy and Kevin Lee, all of Ruther Glen, Va; three grandchildren, Timothy, Bria and Sheniah; five brothers, Eddie, Leroy,Jr.(Ethel Mae), Julian, Thomas(Sally Ann) and Walter Monroe(Judy) all of Ruther Glen, Va; and one aunt, Ann Smith also of Ruther Glen, Va. She was preceded in death by her two sisters, Ana Washington and Elizabeth Rock. She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces and nephews, as well as a devoted cousin, Elsie Felder.

To know Mary Rose, or as many would call her, Mae Rose, is to know unconditional love. This love was shown to any and all, especially in her daycare which she operated up until her time of death, nearly 20 years. She was a loving, kind and devoted mother, sister and friend. God truly blessed us all with an Angel.
