Martha accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church; Supply, Va. Martha was an active and faithful member. She served on various ministries including, the nurse’s unit, missionary circle, kitchen committee and seniors in action. Martha loved serving the Lord and supporting her church in whatever capacity she could.

Martha was a dedicated employee on the Camden Farm in Port Royal, Va. She retired after 52 years of service to the Pratt Family where she worked as a housekeeper. She loved catering meals for luncheons and private gatherings for as many as 100 guests on the historic Camden Farm. Her specialties included a variety of casseroles, Brunswick stew, and ham biscuits. Martha enjoyed her tenure at Camden and became a good friend to the Pratt Family.
