Margaretta Ann Davis

Margaretta Ann Davis (Rita) was born on April 11, 1954 in King George County, Virginia to the late James and Margaret Pratt. She gained her wings in Heaven on Monday, September 17, 2018 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA.

At an early age she accepted Christ and joined Union Bethel Baptist Church, King George. Margaretta received her education at King George County Public Schools. She was a dedicated food service worker at NSWC in Dahlgren, Virginia for the past 17 years.

Margaretta loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Pratt, her mother, Margaret Pratt, and her sister, Annie Green.

She leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy her son, Teddy D. Frye of King George; the Love of her life for the past 38 years, William Thomas Frye of King George; three grandchildren, Tyasia and Tymon Frye of Fredericksburg and Camden Berry of Colonial Beach; two sisters, Fannie Green and Diana Pratt of King George; three brothers, James Pratt of Fredericksburg, Robert and Purnell Pratt of King George; and one stepbrother, Rev. Vernon Williams of Augusta, GA. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; Goddaughter Antoinette Guthridge; and three special friends, Felicia Pratt, Karen Buckner, and Elaine Thomas.
