Mr. Marcus Antonio Brown of Lihue, Hawaii formerly of King George, Virginia was called home to rest on September 5, 2013 in Hayward, California. Marcus was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia to William "Tony" Howard and Linda Darlene Brown on June 14, 1984.

A little about Marcus…Marcus was always full of laughter and joy. He was always smiling and making others laugh. He was a friend to all and to know him was to love him. Marcus really loved his family and his race car. Marcus would help anyone who was in need.

Marcus graduated from King George High School, King George County. He was an Army veteran and served in Afghanistan; after serving four years in the U.S. Army he worked as a Salesman. He enjoyed his job because he loved meeting new people and traveling all the time.

Marcus was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Jane Shanklin; Step-grandfather, Winfield Shanklin.

Marcus leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife, Christine Brown of Honolulu, Hawaii; son, Marquise Crawley of King George, Virginia; daughter, Selah Brown of Honolulu, Hawaii; father, William "Tony" Howard of King George, Virginia; mother, Linda D. Brown of Washington, DC; three brothers, Kelvin Brown, Phillip Brown both of Washington, DC and Keith Robinson of Colonial Beach, Virginia; two sisters, Charlene Robinson and Sarah Robinson both of Washington, DC; grandfather, Emmett Peyton (Ella); great-grandmother, Amanda Bundy all of King George, Virginia; mother-in-law, Edwina Kamalii; father-in-law, Edward Kamalii; two brothers-in-law, Chris Kamalii, Ched Kamalii, all of Honolulu, Hawaii; two uncles, Dese Howard (Liz) of Port Royal, Virginia, Anthony Brown (Darlene) of Washington, DC; three aunts, Tammy Conway of Port Royal, Virginia; Amy Smith (Rick) of King George, Virginia, Paula Brown of Washington, DC; a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a very special friend, Loke Beltrame.
