Lucille Beverly

Lucille Beverly, affectionately known as Cille was born in Westmoreland County to the late Mary Ruth Beverly on March 20, 1943. She departed this life on May 18, 2010 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Cille was educated at Westmoreland Public Schools. Cille was a native of Westmoreland County, she later moved to King George County. She worked at various employers in King George; her last employer was Hillcrest restaurant. She joined Good Hope Baptist Church in King George at an early age.

Among her favorite hobbies were playing cards especially spades, crossword puzzles and knitting. Cille was an affectionate strong person with a quiet loving spirit. She loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed joking around with her family and was always full of joy and laughter. Her greatest joy was being a mother.

She leaves to cherish her special and everlasting memories five children; Diane Cooper (Brian) of Stafford, Virginia; Larry Beverly (Joy) of Augusta, Georgia; Cynthia Freeman (Lorenzo) of King George, Virginia; Jessie Beverly (Francine) of Ruther Glen, Virginia; Kevin Beverly (Stacey) of King George, Virginia; two sisters Evelyn McDowney (Viola) of Fort Washington, Maryland; Margaret Buckner of Fayetteville, North Carolina; five brothers Maurice Beverly (Cynthia) of Augusta, Georgia, Joseph Beverly (Tawanda) of Dinwiddie, Virginia, Carol Beverly (Sarah) of King George, Virginia; Webster Jordan ( Denise) of Spotsylvania, Virginia; Vincent Beverly (Shirley) of Essex County, Virginia; 15 loving grandchildren, six great grandchildren; one uncle Edward Beverly and one aunt Gracie Beverly. A very special thanks to special friend and caregiver Tia Dobard and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends.
