Lenora M. Blagmon was born on November 18, 1934 in Bowling Green, Virginia to her parents the late Freddie and Ocie Martin, and departed this life on Friday, April 5, 2013 at Chesapeake Shores Nursing Home, Lexington Park, Maryland.

Lenora was raised with her eight siblings in Bowling Green, Virginia and received her formal education through the Caroline County Schools system. Lenora accepted Christ at an early age, joining Bethel Baptist Church, of Bowling Green, Virginia, and devoted her life to serving the Lord.

Lenora served GOD's people in many capacities over the years. As a Christian leader and member of Frist Baptist Church of Loretto, Lenora worked tirelessly and faithfully as a devoted member of many ministries to include: the Deacon Ministry, Women's Fellowship, Youth Ministry, the Choir (as a member she founded the "Archangels Choir" for the babies in Christ...as the children were one of her great loves in life), and Lenora also supported efforts for visiting the "Sick and Shut-in". Lenora was also an avid prayer warrior, supporting Noon-Day Prayer and the needs of the Body of Christ.

On April 21, 1973 Lenora was joined in the bonds of holy matrimony to the late James Albert Blagmon; a union that blessed them with four step-children, and ten grandchildren.

Lenora is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Susie Woolfolk, Bowling Green Virginia, Mrs. Shirley Boulware, and Mrs. Sallie Boulware both of Ruther Glen, Virginia. She was proceed to glory by her remaining siblings (Willie, George, Gladys, Eula, and Osie). Lenora' is also proceeded to glory by her loving niece (Mrs. Lucille Minor), and is survived by her loving brother (Mr. Frederick Turner); both of whom she devoted her life to and raised as her own. Lenora is also survived by a host of loving in-laws, Nieces, Nephews, extended family members, and friends.
