On Monday, September 1, 2003, The Lord announced ''Rest''. Suddenly Lee's (Sam) day went from labor to reward.
Lee Warner Garnett Jr. (Sam as he was fondly called) was born to the late Helen and Lee Warner Garnett Sr. on May 18th, 1956. Sam attended and graduated from Essex County Schools. At a very young age he became a member of First Baptist Church, Loretta, Va.
Sam was a brother and a friend to all who knew him. Always the joker and a die-hard Redskins Football fan. He shall be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by one sister Yvonne Garnett Johnson.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters Sharon Scott, Katina (Tina) Garnett both of Tappahannock, Va. and Constance Johnson of Hustle, Va.
