Lawrence E. Jackson

Lawrence Eugene Jackson, loving father, son, brother, nephew, and devoted friend, departed this life suddenly on Tuesday, January 17, 2007 at the Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Va. Lawrence was born in Washington, D.C. on September 2, 1968 to James Jackson, Jr. and the late Betty Boyd Jackson. He attended public schools in the Washington area and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1986. After completion of high school, he attended Lincoln High Tech Trade School and worked for the Patent and Trademark in Crystal Citym Va.

He married Sondra-Roberts Jackson in September, 2001 which ended in separation December 2005. Lawrence was employed at the Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C. for 17 years until the time of his passing. Affectionally loved by everyone, Lawrence was blessed with three loving families (Jackson family, GPO family, and his Down the county family). Lawrence will always be remembered by his big smile, warm greetings, as being a jokestar, teaser, and nickname giver.

His hobbies included being a big Toys R Us kid. He loved his music, his SUV, big collection of video games and movies. His two dogs, Pepper and Precious (Aka OB) nicknamed by Lawrence for her overbite. He loved to shop. His wardrobe had to color coordinated and matching from head to toe. Lawrence loved so may things but most importantly he loved God. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior in Virginia, where he affiliated with the Third Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Woodford,Va.

Lawrence leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Lachey Jackson, stepdaughter, Aliya Stuart, James Jackson, Jr. father. Four sisters, Pamela, Tiko, Eureka, and Zeta. One devoted companion and friend, Deborah Minor. Seven aunts
