Laura Michelle Harvey

Laura Michelle Harvey departed this life suddenly on December 6, 2018. She was born on October 8, 1971 to the late James Rogers Gray, Sr., and Laura Darby Gray.
Michelle graduated from Essex High School in 1989. She furthered her education at Rappahannock Community College. She was employed by her mother at Gray’s Homecare for over 15 years. She was currently employed with Middle Peninsula Northern Neck Community Services.
Michelle was passionate about serving Jehovah and decided to dedicate her life to him in November 2008. She served Jehovah with “all” of her heart.
On October 27, 1990, Michelle married the love of her life Henry Harvey. Through that union two children were born. She loved her family unconditionally and enjoyed family gathering. Her compassion for people was endless.
She leaves to cherish her sweet memories: her loving husband Henry Harvey; two daughters: Tierra M. and Tamera R. Harvey both of Tappahannock, VA; a granddaughter Brooklyn M. Candia of Tappahannock, VA; her mother Laura Darby Gray of Tappahannock, VA; two sisters: Denise Gray-Jones (Andrew) of Dunnsville, VA and Joy Gray of Tappahannock, VA; three brothers: James Rogers Gray, Jr. of Tappahannock, VA, Mark Gray (Phyllis) of Champlain, VA and Erick Gray (Yolanda) of Ashland, VA; seven aunts: Irene Holmes of St. Stephens Church, VA, Ella J. Jones (Ralph) of Prince George, VA, Katherine Miller of Mechanicsville, VA, Darlene Darby of Tappahannock, VA, Frances Pitts of Caroline, VA, Joyce Gray of Tappahannock, VA and Valerie Gray of Champlain, VA.; six uncles: Stanley, Keith, Kelvin, Alfred (Brenda) and Timothy (Nevon) Gray all of Champlain, VA, Robert Gray (Gayle) of Heathsville, VA. Five sisters in-law Gladys Hickman (Wilbur) of King and Queen Courthouse, VA, Deloris Young (Harlan) and Maria Byrd (James) of Tappahannock, VA, Brenda Gray (Alfred) of Champlain, VA and Annette Pollard (Sylvester) of Dunnsville, VA; five brothers in-law: William, Walter (Diane), Robert (Joy), Luther (Tuajuana) Harvey all of St. Stephens Church, VA and Charles Harvey (Sandra) of King William, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
