Laura Holmes, a King George native took her flight with Jesus on September 5, 2017. Laura was born in King George, Virginia on December 2, 1924 to the late William and Marie Frazier.
Laura was preceded in death by her husband, David Holmes, with whom she enjoyed 36 years of devoted and loving companionship.
Laura became a member of The People’s Union Baptist Church at an early age. She was a faithful Deaconess and Usher for many years.

Laura leaves to cherish her memory her only son: William T. Frazier (Debbie); three sisters and one brother of King George, VA: Alberta Stuart, Dorothy Johnson, Clara Ward, and Charles Frazier (Georgia); six grandchildren: Diane Frazier (Earnest) and Clinton Frazier (LaTrease) of Fredericksburg, VA, Angela Frazier, Kent Frazier, Dominique Frazier, and William Frazier all of King George, VA; thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law: Mary Watson (Edward) of Goldvein, VA and Beatrice Holmes of King George; one brother-in-law: Daniel Holmes of King George, VA; two close nieces Laura Steward and Bernetta Barnes; one godson: Jerald Johnson; two special friends: Beatrice Holmes and Lilly Andrews and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
