Keith L. Johnson, born May 14, 1963 departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Keith was born in Annapolis, Md to the late Herbert L. and Frances Johnson.
After the death of his father Frances married Alfred Holliman who became a loving and caring father for Keith. He spent his early childhood in Annapolis, Md and later moved to Portsmouth, VA. At the age of thirteen his family moved back to Charles County, MD where he graduated from Thomas Stone High School. After graduation he attended Prince George's Community College where he studied Photography.
Keith worked for 23 years for Fairfax County Government as a water technician, where he retired in 2009. For the past four years, he has worked in the Maintenance Department at Walmart in Dahlgren.
Keith joined Little Ark Baptist church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. John W. Chapman. He loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He had a passion for fishing, gardening, grilling, and collecting Volvos. He valued the relationship he had with his family and special friends. He was truly FRIENDLY!
His favorite football team was the Pittsburg Steelers.
To cherish his memory he leaves three sons, Keith, Jr (finance' Tierra) of Colonial Beach, Nathaniel of King George and Nathan of Virginia Beach; his mother Frances Holliman, his second dad Alfred Holliman (deceased); six sisters Cassandra Norris of Ruther Glen, VA, Renee'(Bruce) Rayes of Las Vegas, NV, Lynn(Wes) Reed of Norfolk, VA, Stephanie (Kenny) Rice of Ft Washington, MD and Sandra Bowser of North Carolina and Yvette Holmes of Woodbridge, VA; one brother Tracey Holliman of Waldorf, MD; two grandchildren Talaira and Keilan. Godparents Kenneth and Evelyn Lindsey of Chesapeake, VA. Mother of his children Denise Peyton Johnson of King George, VA. Additionally, he leaves aunts, uncles, and a host of cousins that he loved dearly. Keith was preceded in death by his father Herbert L. Johnson, Grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Nathanial Washington and Mr. & Mrs. Roosevelt Johnson.
