Joseph Frye, Jr.

It comes with great sadness, followed by joy, love, happiness, comfort and peace knowing that the Lord called home Joseph Frye, Jr. lovingly known to all as “Winsky” on July 4, 2024.  Joseph was born on September 21, 1962 to the late Joseph Frye, Sr and Mable Elizabeth Frye. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Cunningham Frye, his father, Joseph Frye, Sr, and sister, Esther Frye-Cook. Joseph attended King George County Public Schools. 

At an early age, he followed in the footsteps of his father, uncles, and cousins learning the trade of masonry and building. Joseph perfected his craft working numerous years until his health began to fail. 

Joseph will be cherished and remembered by his mom, Mable, siblings, Bryan Frye, Sr. (Josephine), Millicent Jones (Gary, Sr), and Elease Parker (Alphonso). He also leaves to cherish his loving memories: two aunts; Margaret Hill and Esther Beverly (James), an uncle, Major Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, stepchildren, step grandchildren, cousins, and other family and friends.
