John ''Johnny'' George Coakley, Jr.

Deacon John George Coakley, Jr. known to many as ''Johnny'' was born January 23,1950 in King George, Va. to Helen and the late John George Coakley,Sr. He departed this life after a brief illness on Tuesday July 13, 2004 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise. Johnny attended Ralph Bunche School and served his country in the U.S. Army and was an honorably discharged veteran. He accepted Christ as his personal saviour and joined the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church,King George where he was an ordained Deacon and at death held the position of Chairman of the Board. He was employed as a taxi driver for Bumbrey Cab in Fredericksburg,Va. He leaves to cherish his memory one son John G. Coakley,III; two daughters Jessica and Faith Coakley; his mother Helen Coakley; one brother Sanford Coakley and Paternal Grandmother Eliza Coakley and a host neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
