Joe Louis Ferguson

Joe Louis Ferguson, son of the late John and Ruth Ferguson was born October 7, 1948 in Caroline County, Virginia. He went home to be with the Lord on March 29, 2011, at Stafford Hospital Center in Stafford, Virginia.

He attended the Caroline County Public School System. Over the years he worked for the King George County Public School System. Joe, loved and admired by his family and friends was caring and giving. He was known by his smile and his cars.

He is preceded in death by five sisters, Beulah, Irene, Doris, Berniece, and Matilda; two brothers, Robert and Cecil and three grandchildren, NyKeisha, Alpheus, Jr. and DeAndre Staton.

Joe leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Rose Elaine Ferguson; one son, Joe Ferguson, Jr.; one daughter, Katisha Washington; three step-children, Wanda Gross, Angela Scott, and Billy Scott; twelve grandchildren; two brothers-in-law, Bernard Anderson, Sr. and Luther Johnson, Sr.; a devoted nephew, Luther Johnson, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
