Jesse B. Beverly

Jesse Beverly, affectionately known as "J' Dogg" was born in King George County, Virginia to the late Lucille Beverly on October 8, 1965. He departed this life on November 6, 2011 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Jesse received his education in the King George Public school system. Jesse was known to be a hard worker. He gave CVS Distribution Center 14 years of professional service, before he ventured off to start his own career as an owner, operator, and an employee in the trucking industry. His hobbies included working outside in his yard, restoring his Chevy S-10 pick-up (his toy), lifting weights, or just relaxing with family and friends.

Jesse united in holy matrimony with Francine Roy on January 16, 1997 from this union two children were born, Jesse, Jr. and Khadijah. He was a devoted and loving husband and father. He worked extremely hard to provide a comfortable life for his wife and children.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Beverly. Before his mother's death Jesse always checked on her throughout the week no matter how tired he was from work. He did whatever he had to do in order to make her comfortable. People who knew Jesse well would describe him as unselfish, dependable, laid back, and private. They would tell you that Jesse was the type to give you the shirt off his back, always willing to lend a helping hand; he would rather inconvenience himself before his family and friends. He was an organ donor and even in death found a way to give unselfishly to others.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife; Francine Beverly, his son; Jesse Beverly, Jr.; his daughter; Khadijah Beverly, two sisters; Cynthia Freeman (Lorenzo), and Diane Cooper (Brian); two brothers; Kevin Beverly (Stacy), and Larry Beverly (Joy), two aunts Evelyn McDowney (Viola) and Margaret Buckner, five uncles; Maurice Beverly (Cynthia), Joseph Beverly (Tawanda), Carol Beverly (Sarah), Webster Jordan (Denise) and Vincent Beverly (Shirley), one great- uncle; Edward Beverly and one great-aunt Gracie Beverly, four sisters-in-law, Myrtle Sims (John), Janice Cook (John), Tracy Smith (Rory), and Brenda Moore (John), two brothers-in-law; Ferman Roy (Doris) and Guy Roy (Solange) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
