On May 12, 2018, the gates of heaven opened and God said come my son,
your work here is done. I've got a home on the other side. You have
gained your wings, come go with me to a room of our Father's house.
Torez was born Jan 2, 1981 to Sandra Myers-Southerland and Jefffery
Southerland in Richmond Va.
At an early age he accepted Christ and was baptized at Ebenezer
Baptist Church. He graduated from Spotsylvania High School.
Following graduation he decided he wanted to be a truck driver just
like his dad and uncles,
While growing up he was always riding in the dump truck and
trac-n-trailor with Big Jeff, Junie and Jerry . This gave him the
passion to follow in their footsteps and graduated from trucking
school and obtained his license. His first job working was
Fairchilds Trucking. He added to his knowledge of trucking what his
dad and uncles taught him. It wasn't long before he realize he wanted
to branch out on his own and live his dream, owning his own trucking
company, "Myers Trucking"
He was a hard worker and a good father to his kids.
