Jean Rebecca Wheeler

Jean Rebecca Wheeler 68, of Bowling Green, Va. went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 14, 2009 at Mary Washington hospital.
Jean was born January 10, 1941 to the late Helen Wheeler Ellis and reared by the late Ralph and Josephine Sayles in Caroline County, VA. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Lois Mae Roy and two brothers Percell Ellis and Leroy Wheeler.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Supply, VA.
Jean received her education in the Caroline County Public School System.
Jean was a loving sister, aunt, cousin and friend to all. She was like a teacher and mother to all of her nieces and nephews, teaching some how to speak, read and write. She loves spending time with her family and listening to music. Jean was always positive about life saying, "It is going to be alright, God knows".
Jean leaves to cherish her memory five sisters; Pauline Lomax of Ruther Glen, VA., Roberta Cook of Spotsylvania, VA., Joanne Lewis (Russell) of Fredericksburg, VA., Flossie Lewis (Percy) of Port Royal, VA., and Evelyn Blaze (Harold) of Ruther Glen, VA.; three brothers Ernest Ellis (Anna) of Spotsylvania, VA., Otis Wheeler of Supply, VA., and Jessie Wheeler of King George, VA., a devoted companion Harry Childs and a devoted friend Reverend Cynthia Golden both of Bowling Green, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
