James Wilbur Smith, Jr.

James Wilbur Smith, Jr. affectionally known to many as (Junior, Bugg, Sam) transitioned to be with the Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022. He was the only child of the late James Wilbur Smith, Sr. and Delores Ann Smith of King George, VA.

During his spare time he enjoyed some of his favorite things such as playing cards with family, bingo, and going to the casino. Junior loved a great cookout or any opportunity to spend time with family and friends. He was a "real humble guy and such a "great friend". Sam was always willing to offer some type of help (especially to the "young generation". Bugg loved his mother beyond words could explain she was his "everything". Whatever she needed from "Junior" it was done. He also had a special place in his heart for his "Aunt Lala" aka "Gurt". She would always say to him "SAMMY" you are my child too. He truly touched the lives and hearts of everyone who came in contact with him. Bugg was so dearly loved and will truly be missed by all family and friends.

A Celebration of life service will be held on Sunday February 6, 2022 at 2 pm. The service and viewing will be held at the Caroline Community Services Center at 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, VA 22514. Interment will follow Shiloh Baptist Church, Port Royal, Va.
