James H. Hunter, Jr

James Howard Hunter, 78, also known as "Jimmy", son of Mary Lou and Howard Hunter was born on February 2, 1935. On Saturday, December 28, 2013 our heavenly Father called our beloved James to eternal rest.
James attended Caroline County Public Schools. He accepted Christ at an early age at Jerusalem Baptist Church and remained a faithful servant as an Usher and Trustee.

James professional career spanned over 34 years with the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a funeral attendant for Cedell Brooks Funeral Home for 13 years. Jimmy also served as a proud member of the Masonic "Mason" Fraternity. James was a caring, loving, hardworking man who loved hunting and fishing and the Dallas Cowboys.

James leaves cherished memories to: wife, Eva Mae Hunter, two daughters: Brenda Kilgore and Cheryl Samuel, one son in law: Howard Kilgore, three grandchildren: Alesia, Brittany and Brian Kilgore, 5 step daughters: Linda, Elaine, Teresa, Angie and Felecia, 9 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, devoted mother in law, Gladys Galloway, 1 deceased brother, Franklin Hunter, Devoted Cousin, Vernell Hudgins, nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friend, William Childs and a host of other relatives and friends
