James H. Hunt, Jr.

James H. Hunt, Jr. (Mr. Peady) departed this life on Saturday, May 18, 2002, at his residence in Bowling Green, Virginia.

James was the son of the late James H. Hunt, Sr. and Elnora Hunt. He attended the Caroline County School System and had joined the Reedy Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, Virginia, at an early age.

He was employed by Caroline County’s Land Field as a Land Field Technician until his health began to fail.

James leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Eleanor Queen Hunt; one brother, Leroy Hunt of Stafford, Virginia; two sisters, Hazel Gibson of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Annie Hunt of Stafford, Virginia; two sons, Jeffrey (Mike) and Stanley Hunt; three daughters, Patricia Hunt, Elizabeth Hunt, and Arlene Hunt; two step-sons, Carroll Queen, Jr., and Joe Queen; four step-daughters, Theresa Queen, Dulanie Queen, Cynthia (Poole), and Veronica Queen; eleven grand- children, ten great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren; a devoted child Lance Tyrone Queen; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
