Irving Whiting Slipped into eternal rest on December 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born on September 9, 1954 to Elizabeth Whiting and the late Willie George Whiting in King George County.
He attended Ralph Bunch Public Schools. He also worked for White Packing Co. for many years. He then began working for William Hazel Co. for about 15 years.
He loved to play horseshoes and shoot the breeze with his family and friends. Also, anyone that knew him knows that nothing could take the place of the love of his music. He was a D.J. for many years.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Elizabeth Whiting, his daughter Victoria Smith and grandchildren Sharmaine Smith and Trayvon Scott. He also leave to cherish his memory his sisters Belinda Grady, LaVerene Brooks, Roberta Shanklin-Harper and Christine Whiting and Brother-In-Law John Brooks. His Aunts and Uncle, Gladys Pryor, Winnie Bell Pryor, Dorothy Washington (Lloyd), Mable Yancy, Shirley Whiting and Charles Edelen. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and two special friends Theresa Howard and Desi Jackson
