Herndon was born on June 4, 1970 in Washington, D. C. He departed this life on the afternoon of January 29, 2005 in Washington, D. C.

Herndon was educated in Prince Georges County Schools and later attended school for Cosmetology and worked at several Salons in Northeast, D. C. Herndon also had a special gift in Interior Designing. Herndon will be most remembered by his family and friends for his kind heart and generosity.

Herndon leaves to cherish fond memories, his father, Herndon R. Fortune, Sr. of Hyattsville, Md.; his mother, Jean Pringle of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother, Matthew Pringle, of Atlanta, Ga.; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Fortune of Hustle, Va.; his maternal grandmother, Veonia Weddington of Lawrenceville, Va.; aunts, uncles; a special friend, Miss Patricia George of Washington, D. C.; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
