Herman Scott

Herman L. Scott, the son of the late Earl and Minnie Scott was born in King George, VA on November 17, 1945. He was one of six children. He departed this life on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at home after a long illness.
He received his education at Ralph Bunch High School in King George. He worked at White Packing for 38 years and 7 years at Motion Control. He was a faithful and reliable worker until he retired.
He was a loving father and husband. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, watching westerns, wrestling, smoking his cigars and animals, especially his adopted dog Tippy.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild Jared Scott. Herman leaves to cherish his memory, wife Joyce of Supply, VA. Three daughters Cassandra Scott of Port Royal, Va, Deborah Fauntleroy of Supply, VA, Natia(Joseph) Jackson of Colonial Beach, VA; Two sons Anthony(Rosalyn) Scott of Woodbridge, VA, DeWayne Lumpkin of King George, VA; eight grandchildren Laqueasha, Lewis, Jasmine, Maliq, Jawan, Ariyanna, DJ, Raven, and one great grandchild, Elijah. One sister Beatrice Holmes; four brothers, Odell (Sandy) of South Carolina, Kenneth (Marcella) Scott of Corbin, VA, Percil(Diana) Scott of King George, VA, Ernest(Juanita) of Stafford, VA; seven sister-in-laws, four brother-in-laws, and very special adopted daughter Ruth Johnson(Nat)and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
