Helen Johnson

Helen Louise Johnson was born on July 16, 1927 to the late Spencer and Ruth Whiting. She was called home peacefully on October 5, 2014, at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was a resident of Heritage Hall Nursing Home where she battled a long term illness. She was a strong and humble lady who knew the lord. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Salem Baptist Church. She loved to dance, cook, sing shop and take care of her grandchildren.
Helen was preceded in death by her Husband the late Herbert Lee Johnson, Sr. and Son the late Herbert Lee Johnson, Jr.
Left with cherished memories, Five Daughters: Della Harvey (Wayne), Dina Mae Johnson (Tyrone Peyton), Doris Johnson (Pete Muse), Helen Geneva Gray (William), Lorraine Robinson (Woodford); two sons: Joe Johnson and Randolph Johnson; five sisters: Irene Jefferson, Gladys Pryor, Winnie Pryor, Dorthy Washington and Mabel Yancey; four Sister-in-laws: Margaret Johnson, Shirley Whiting, Elizabeth Whiting and Yvonne Bland; four brother-in-laws: Frezel Johnson, Llyod Washington , Jr., Roger Jefferson and Peter Jefferson. Twenty Grandchildren, Twenty-seven Great Grandchildren, One Great Great Grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
